Privacy policy.
Last updated October 10, 2026
This policy explains what Venu ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and apps, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account info: your name and email when you sign up with email, Google or Apple.
- Location: only if you choose to share it or type in a city. We use it to show events near you.
- Usage info: the screens you visit, the choices you make and the listings you tap, linked to a random visitor ID stored in your browser.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form.
We never collect or store payment card details. Purchases happen on the seller's site.
How we use it
- To run Venu and show relevant events and prices.
- To understand which features work and improve the service.
- To confirm referrals with our ticket seller partners so we can earn commission.
- To reply to your questions.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. When you tap through to a seller, that seller and its affiliate network (for example Impact or Partnerize) receive referral information such as a click ID. Their own privacy policies apply on their sites. We also use trusted service providers to host the app and store data.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to count unique visitors. Ticket sellers and affiliate networks may set their own cookies once you visit their sites.
Your choices
- You can turn location off or skip it entirely.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing support@venu.app.
- California and other U.S. residents may have extra rights under state law; we honor them on request.
Children
Venu is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this page if this policy changes. Questions? Email support@venu.app or use our contact form.
